Retail Birmingham supports Retail Week’s Save Britain’s High Street’s event
24/02/10Retail Birmingham and Birmingham City Council are proud to be supporting Retail Week in hosting the first ever event dedicated to bringing together high-profile leaders to actively debate the future of British high-streets and town centres. At this one-off meeting being held in our city, a forum will be created to influence and inform the agenda for the years ahead. Show-casing practical case-studies from across the UK, including a spotlight session on the excellent innovations taking place in Birmingham, the conference will address the vitality of town centres and their integral place in the social and economic fabric of Britain.
The campaign has gathered tremendous industry support including the British Retail Consortium, the British Council of Shopping Centres, Drapers Record, the British Shops and Stores Association, Action for Market Towns, the Commission for Architecture and Built Environment, the Association of Town Centre Managers, the Local Government Chronicle, the British Property Federation and the National Skills Academy.
