The Rathayatra Festival returns to the City Centre on 10th August, 2008.
It promises to be a fantastic city centre procession and festival, incorporating all the exoticness, vitality and colour that is India.
Don’t miss the spectacular grand procession of the enormous Jagannatha Chariot at 12:30pm from Victoria Square to the Bullring and returning along the same route.
This will be followed by a free festival in Victoria Square at 2:00 pm with vegetarian feast, traditional dance and music, meditation area and stalls. Young and old can expect a great day of spectacle, participation and enjoyment.
